Sandbox Bandar Sunway opened in 2022 as the bigger, newer sibling of our Sri Petaling original: a two-storey corner lot with a double-height common floor, an in-house barista bar, private offices up to 8 pax, and the largest event hall we own. It is the branch built for scale, whether that means a team holding a full row of desks together, a workshop of thirty, or a launch of a hundred.
The crowd matches the neighbourhood. Monash and Sunway University are a five-minute walk, so students and researchers work alongside startups, remote teams and the odd family-run business; the word reviewers keep reaching for is "quiet". Then the fairy lights come on for a community BBQ night on the terrace, and the quiet takes the evening off.

How much does it cost to rent an office space at Sandbox Coworking Space in Sunway?
A private office at Sandbox Bandar Sunway costs RM780 a month for 1 pax, RM1,450 for 2, RM2,100 for 3, RM2,450 for 4, and RM4,640 for the 8-pax room, all-in: air con, WiFi 7, 24/7 keyless access, monthly meeting room credits, a business address with mail handling, and cleaning. Offices are month-to-month with a one-month deposit and one month notice, and the rate drops on 6 and 12-month commitments. If you do not need a door, a hot desk is RM400 a month, a dedicated desk is RM530, and a walk-in day pass is RM28, or RM18 for students. Sunway does not have 5, 6, 7 or 10-pax rooms; teams that size take the 8-pax office or two smaller rooms side by side.

How do I get here by public transport?
Take the Sunway BRT line to SunU-Monash station; we are an 8-minute walk from the platform. The BRT connects to KTM and LRT interchanges, so most of the Klang Valley can reach us by rail.
Is parking available?
Street parking surrounds the building. It is free on weekends and at night, and paid during weekday working hours.
Do you have student rates?
Yes. A student day pass is RM18, versus RM28 standard, and with Monash and Sunway University five minutes away, students are a big part of the floor. If you come often, the RM38/month online membership gives you a free day pass each month and drops the rest to RM14; it renews monthly and cancels anytime from the manage-subscription link we send you.
What are the opening hours?
The front desk is staffed 9am to 6pm, every day of the week. Members get 24/7 access via the Salto app on their phone. Day passes run 9am to 6pm.
What offices are available at Bandar Sunway?

What is the barista bar?
An in-house coffee bar on the ground floor, unique to this branch. Members get free barista-brewed black coffee, and other drinks and light food are for sale. Free-flow black coffee, tea and water are included for everyone on the floor as standard.
Do you offer a virtual office or business address only?
Yes, quietly: RM960 a year covers mail handling and a business address you can register, sold on enquiry. Worth knowing first: every monthly plan already includes the business address free, so if you will actually use a seat, a hot desk gets you the address plus somewhere to work.
Can I book the event hall or training room without being a member?
Yes, both take outside bookings. The event hall holds 40 to 100 pax from RM550 an hour, and the training room seats 13 to 30 from RM148 an hour, or RM1,100 for a 9am-to-6pm full day. Send an enquiry and we will confirm availability.
