This room comes with the recording rig: a Zoom PodTrak P4 podcast recorder, three Audio Technica mics with monitor headphones on stands, softbox lighting, and a TV you plug your own camera into, so you can watch the live frame while you talk. Podcasters record here weekly, and so do interview channels, live sellers and founders taping their first episode. RM58 buys the hour; the gear rides along free.

Round-table discussion seats 4; chairs-only fits 5. Equipment included either way, with no setup fee and no service charge on top.

Recording regularly? A 15-hour credit package is RM739, RM131 off the hourly rate. Use the hours anytime, they never expire, within the 9am to 6pm booking window.

How much does the podcast studio cost?

RM58 an hour at Sandbox Space Sri Petaling, with the equipment included: a Zoom PodTrak P4 recorder, three Audio Technica ATR2100X-USB microphones, three ATH-M20x monitor headphones, softbox lighting and a live feed TV. No setup fee. Recording regularly? A 15-hour credit package is RM739, and the hours never expire.

How many people fit in the podcast room?

Up to 4 people around the round table, or up to 5 with chairs only. Most shows here record with 2 to 4 voices.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

For audio, no: the recorder, mics and headphones are set up and included. For video, yes: we do not provide recording cameras, so bring your own camera or phone. Plug it into the TV to monitor the live feed, and use the softbox lighting that is already in the room.

I have never recorded a podcast. Can I still use it?

Yes. The PodTrak P4 is a one-touch recorder built for beginners, and the front desk will get you rolling when you arrive. Bring your topic and your guests; the technical part is the easy part here.

Where is the podcast studio located?

Inside Sandbox Space Sri Petaling at 22-1 Jalan Radin Bagus 3, 57000 Kuala Lumpur, with a multi-storey car park right in front of the building. The studio is at the Sri Petaling branch only.

How do I book, and what if I need to cancel?

Request your hour with the session form (or WhatsApp us), any day between 9am and 6pm; we confirm it and send a secure payment link. Reschedule or cancel free up to 3 days before your booking; inside 3 days the payment turns into a booking credit you can use anytime, no expiry date.
