How much does a coworking day pass cost in KL?
A coworking day pass in KL and PJ costs RM28 to RM70 in 2026. Ours is RM28 walk-in and RM18 for students with a valid ID, or RM14 with our RM38 monthly online membership, which also includes one free day pass a month. WORQ charges RM40 at most outlets, RM60 at KL Sentral and Bandar Utama and RM70 at Intermark and KL Eco City; Colony charges RM63+ (RM68.04 at checkout) and Regus from RM69.
Check the hours as well as the price. Our day pass runs 9am to 6pm every day, weekends included; WORQ's runs 9am to 6pm and Colony's 9am to 5:30pm, both on weekdays only and excluding public holidays. On walk-in rates, a RM400 monthly hot desk works out cheaper from your 15th day in a month.
How much does a hot desk cost per month?
A monthly hot desk in KL or PJ costs RM400 to RM970 in 2026. Ours is RM400 at both branches and includes 24/7 keyless access, WiFi 7, free-flow coffee and water, a stocked pantry, mail and parcel handling and a business address. WORQ charges RM400 at Sunway Putra, Subang and TTDI, RM500 to RM700 at most other outlets and RM970 at KL Eco City; Colony starts from RM430+ (RM464.40 at checkout), and WeWork's coworking membership from RM782.
The number to interrogate is not the desk price, it is what the desk price includes. Colony's open hot desk includes office-hours access and keeps 24/7 for its reserved desks and private offices. Ours includes 24/7 access at RM400, so the desk is there at 2am before a deadline.
How much does a dedicated desk cost?
A dedicated desk (a fixed desk nobody else uses, where you leave your monitor and gear set up) costs RM530 to RM1,170 a month in KL and PJ in 2026. We charge RM530 all-in at both branches, with an adjustable office chair with armrests and monthly meeting room credits (print credits too at Sri Petaling) on top of everything in the hot desk plan. WORQ charges RM600 at Sunway Putra, RM700 to RM970 at most outlets and RM1,170 at Intermark and KL Eco City; WeWork lists its dedicated desk as price on request, and Colony does not publish one.
How much does a private office cost in KL and PJ?
A private office in a KL or PJ coworking space starts at RM780 a month for one person at Sandbox Space and scales with headcount: RM1,450 for 2, RM2,100 for 3, RM2,450 for 4 and RM4,640 for 8 at both branches, plus 5, 6 and 10-person rooms at Sri Petaling (RM2,900, RM3,480 and RM5,800). WORQ prices per seat, from RM600 at TTDI (on promotion) to RM1,170 at Intermark and KL Eco City; Colony's private suites start at RM2,390. Two notes on that table. Several figures are promotional or grow at checkout: WORQ marks some of its offices as on sale, WeWork shows its membership cut from RM919, and Colony's RM63 and RM430 come to RM68.04 and RM464.40 at checkout. And Regus quotes its plans per person per day, which does not compare directly with a monthly rate, and says its prices are valid at the time of enquiry.
What is included, and what costs extra
Compare what each plan includes before you compare prices. The differences that matter most are 24/7 access, the WiFi (we run WiFi 7 at both branches, and were the first coworking space in Malaysia to deploy it), meeting room credits and a business address with mail handling.
The common extra charges to check before you sign anywhere: deposit (ours is one month), notice period (ours is one month; long lock-ins are a coworking red flag), after-hours air con (ask whether it is billed separately; at Sandbox it is included), meeting rooms (our fixed desk and office plans include monthly credits that scale with team size, members pay a discounted rate beyond them, and walk-in rates run RM48 to RM148 an hour), and the business address (included in every Sandbox monthly plan).
What is the cheapest coworking option in KL?
For occasional use, a day pass is the cheapest way in. Ours is RM28 walk-in, or RM14 with the RM38 monthly membership, which pays for itself from your second visit in a month because the first pass is free. For full-time use, a RM400 hot desk works out to about RM13 a day over a 30-day month, with 24/7 access and none of the laptop-guarding.
